Established in 1982, the Wellness Council of the Midlands (WELCOM) is a 501 (c)3 non-profit membership organization and the first Wellness Council established in the United States. A local affiliate of the national organization, The Wellness Councils of America (WELCOA), WELCOM educates companies on the Well Workplace© standards and recognizes them for achievement of excellence in health promotion at the worksite. WELCOM provides tools, support and consulting services to assist businesses and communities in the development of results driven wellness initiatives.
